“After a successful fundraiser focused on our aid distribution, as well as partnering with the OOB Perinatal Project, we have reached a point in our initiative where it is imperative to maximize our impact. So we are transitioning our service model from individual delivery focused to a distribution site within a full Medical Caravan model. While we will continue to perform field visits to displaced families who cannot reach us, the creation of our much needed Medical Caravan will allow us to support families at a volume simply impossible at the moment. Services provided will include medical checkups, prescriptions, distribution of medicine, hospital referrals etc. As we both volunteer at our local hospital, we have access to elevating and expediting referrals.”
